Elev8 Management limited and Elev8 Records limited are two members of the Elev8 Group of companies.
Elev8 Records is a 360 record company that promotes and manages its artists across all domains, from song development and recording to concert promotion and merchandise.
Elev8 Records operates as a simple hub and spoke network of top quality associates in all dimensions of music, artist development and promotion. At its core is Dave Gorman, founder and chief executive, ex bass player for Tokyo Joes and The Look Book, Dave has carved a successful career in IT and consultancy, deciding in 2011 to put these expertise back into the music industry.
Elev8 Records was initially created for the rap artist Woodzy as a means to create and manage his career. The ethos was to use the best associate talent available so Dave hooked up with the likes of Colin Peters from Right Track Records (Universal), Ian Penman from New Media Law, Elev8 use Ian Curnow and Dave Ford as producers, using Gary Pickard as artist development, co-writing the songs.
Our Plan
2012 will be a great year for Elev8, Woodzy’s first single “Time to Shine” will be released during early 2012, pre release it has already received airplay from Tim Westwood on Radio1 Extra (featured on Tim’s U-Tube TV channel), the follow up “Soldier” will be out mid-year and a stunning debut album out by late 2012.
